What Synthase is

Synthase is Inkwell’s systematic basis-yield strategy. It captures the funding-rate differential between perpetual futures and spot markets across a curated set of exchange venues, maintaining a delta-neutral position through continuous rebalancing. The product is designed for allocators looking for stable-coin-denominated yield uncorrelated with directional crypto exposure, with risk framed and reported in traditional finance vocabulary.

How it works

1

Signal

A venue-by-venue funding-rate monitor tracks both predicted and realized rates across integrated perpetual-futures exchanges. Rebalance windows are scoped to each venue’s settlement cadence.
2

Allocation

Capital is deployed across venues proportional to risk-adjusted expected basis yield, subject to per-venue concentration and liquidity limits.
3

Hedging

Every perp position is spot-hedged one-for-one, maintaining delta-neutral exposure to the underlying. The basis between perp and spot is the returns driver, not directional price.
4

Rebalance

Continuous monitoring triggers rebalancing when venue-specific funding-rate thresholds are crossed or when position drift exceeds risk bounds.
